The Petra Karr ACT1 Endowment Fund is proud to announce the first recipient of our scholarship created in honor of Petra Karr for 2020-2021!

 

Ella Newborn is an 18-year-old actor from the greater Seattle area. They graduated from Roosevelt High School in 2021, and now attend Western Washington University where they are planning to major in theatre with a concentration in performance. Ella would like to thank the Petra Karr ACT1 Endowment Fund board for their funding of the scholarship, and for the educators and friends that have helped them in pursuing their dream of becoming an actor.
