Support youth theatre education
In our last two years of performances, Tacoma Arts Live was an important resource for ACT 1. It provided financial and technical support in bringing The Drowsy Chaperone to the Theater on the Square and helped us find a new home at Urban Grace.
In 2024 we will begin a partnership with Tacoma Arts Live by providing financial support to their youth camps and classes. These programs are offered at whatever tuition amount the enrollee is able to pay.
Our Goal is to provide $3,000 in financial support to the program in 2024. Help us reach our goal. Each birthday gift will be match by an anonymous donor up to a total of $1,500.
Whether your gift is $10 or $1,000, 100% of funds received by ACT 1 will go to support scholarships and awards.
The Petra Karr ACT 1 Endowment Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bringing high quality theater to Washington. It's hard work putting it all together, but a major part of what makes it all work is the generosity of those who feel like lending a helping hand to the arts.
