My acting partner and I were cast to play parts written for men in the upcoming show, "The Drowsy Chaperone", playing at Theater on the Square in Tacoma. We thought we were going to be playing men so we were very confused when we were told to leave the stage with the women. It took us a while, but we finally figure it out.
We are females playing female vaudevillians playing male gangsters pretending to be male pastry chefs.
It makes perfect sense!
